FTAdviser Top 100 Firm
Following the awards ceremony at the Financial Times head office in London, the firm was confirmed as achieving FTAdviser Top 100 status.
Managing Director and adviser David Hardman commented “This is a fantastic result, it is particularly pleasing to receive recognition for the efforts of everyone in the group. When you consider there are over 5,000 advice firms it puts the result in context, we are very proud of the achievement and will continue to strive to maintain and improve standards where possible to achieve positive outcomes for our clients.”
Emma Ann Hughes, Editor of FTAdviser highlighted “This year marks a new dawn for FTAdviser’s Top 100 Financial Advisers list as we have made significant changes to the methodology we use to rank businesses and based it on a greater volume of data received from Strategic Insight about these companies.
Rather than being based purely on sales, the list now ranks companies by looking at other factors that are key to investors seeking the best person to assist them with their finances.”
Such factors include assets under management, whether they grew or diminished and how highly qualified advisers are.
“Consumers want advisers to find the best funds for their needs, so another factor we have added is whether investment vehicles being recommended by a business are those that generate the best yield. Clients also want to know the adviser they see today will help them through the financial ups and downs of tomorrow.”
Emma concluded “Our approach produces a useful indication of some of the best investment advice companies assisting clients in the market. We hope investors and intermediaries appreciate what we feel is the most comprehensive ranking of financial advisers currently operating in the UK based on what investors care about.”
